Overview
In
this course, we will approach the management information sysetm from
the IT Service perspective. Students will learn how to apply the
knowledge from several disciplines such as science, engineering, social
science, management, marketing, and so on, to deliver information
required to manage business operation.
Objective
In this course, students will learn- the fundemental concept of management information system.
- the IT services that form the foundation of the managment information system.
- how to design IT services for various situations.
Approach
This is a practical course. Case studies will be analyzed and discussed to further the understanding. Moreover, student will have the chance to design a management information system and the IT services behind it.Reference
